2x AutoFocus Tele Converter for most CANON EOS EF lenses. Simply attach this Converter between your camera lens mount and your existing CANON EF lens to DOUBLE your Focal Length. For example, turn your 28-90mm AutoFocus EF lens into a 56-180mm Zoom Telephoto.* PLEASE NOTE: This Converter works very well with Canon EOS EF lenses; however, it will NOT accept EF-S lenses. EF-S lenses are engineered for Digital SLRs only and have an extension that will not fit into the Tele Converter mount.
Also, to ensure proper autofocusing, your camera lens Maximum Aperture should be f/3.5 or wider; even so, very dark subjects may cause Autofocus systems to fail (although you can always use Manual Focus).
